The three Road to 2012 participation projects highlight local stories of inspiration, talent and team-work. Working with Goldsmiths College, the University of East London and local east London sporting and community groups these projects reflect the reflections, hopes and aspirations of people living, working and studying in the Olympic-host boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Newham and Greenwich.

Road to 2012: ReAnimate is a digital project with students at Goldsmiths College, sound artist Martyn Ware, Goldsmiths tutor Julian Hendriques and Road to 2012 commissioned-photographer Brian Griffin.
Road to 2012: UEL is a documentary photography project with students studying visual arts at the University of East London, and photographer and lecturer Faisal Abdu'Allah. The project explores the impact of the Olympic and Paralympic Games on the local environment and communities.
