Pippa Funnell b.1968
Pippa Funnell is a three-day event rider. She was a member of the medal-winning GB Olympic Eventing team in 2000 and 2004, when she also won an individual medal.
Three-time Badminton winner Funnell is the only rider ever to win the Rolex Grand Slam. She was selected for the GB team again in 2010. With her husband William, an international show jumper, and Donal Barnwell she set up the Billy Stud, now the largest producer of British-bred competition horses in the UK. She won bronze at the 2011 Olympic Test event on a horse bred at this stud.
